I have a pet, inside my home-

A friend to me when I’m alone.

The time spent watching it moving about

Brings a joy to me without a doubt.

I call her “Chubs,” a golden hamster

With tiny eyes, feet, and shaggy fur.

Pets certainly are a man’s best friend-

And we’ll love them to their very end!

Dogs Remember Me!

I had to leave unwanted;

But dogs remember me.

To visit with joint custody

My children whom I love.

When I came back;

Two dogs remember me.

I couldn’t even take one

To my place which I rent.

I see them both with joy;

As dogs remember me.
