Use your voice and concern

Show respect while there
Tell and report what’s wrong.

Use guidance in your actions

Never use force or violence
Find your reason to protest.

Your hurts are being heard

Mention where it is wronged
Emotions become overdriven.

Chaos develops when angry

Hell breaks loose wildly as
Understanding has been lost.

Respect religion and cultures

Bloodshed in the Middle East

This has been going on for 40 years or so

I was a young child listening to the news

I grew up in West.  This is still going on.

Where is the strong leadership and faith?

We all are humans; with intelligent minds.

I grew up believing in a peaceful world

Believing in caring for one another

Believing in helping each other

Believing in being neighborly

Believing in doing good; not evil.

I wish I could understand your thinking

What it is that carries in your thoughts?

I would not want generations to continue

In witnessing bloodshed into the future.

What is left for these people’s welfare?

If this were me; I’d become so sad and weary

I couldn’t have that smile on my face.

I would not see the happiness or even feel it

I would wonder what kind of world we live in.

I would be restless and agitated by what I see.

In order to stop this; there has to be a turn around.

A justice and dignity must prevail and win.

An extreme need of education and reform

A desire of love and kindness for everyone

And a lasting hope of our life in the world.

Feeling Sad...

Not feeling like myself

More like a depression.

Low feeling of sadness

Want to run from it all.

Nothing seems to go right

I’m taking the “fall.”

Feels like getting nowhere

Hopelessness is in sight.

It doesn’t seem to help

No matter how hard I try.

I did the best that I could
