An Echo of Truth

Carol, your words are a lantern,
Shining softly, yet burning bright.
They carry truth upon their wings,
And lift the soul toward the light.
Your book is more than pages bound,
It’s a heartbeat, tender and true.
A message woven deep with grace,
A gift you’re called to share, anew.
Let the people of this nation hear,
From east to west, from shore to shore.
For voices like yours bring healing,
A timeless echo we can’t ignore.
So raise your words, let them be known,
The U.S. awaits your gentle song.
Carol, your book is a river of hope,
Flowing where weary hearts belong.

Love Your Child

We send them off to school

We ourselves have a career.

They study, learn and observe

As we labor, clock in and out.

Child plays, laughs, and have fun

As we work, talk and earn money.

Then we have our family meal

Gathered together in thanks and prayer.

We tuck them into bed with prayer

We all sleep in night's restful peace.

                               BUT

They learn alarms, drills, storms, shooters

As parents hope it'll never happen.

As children are with their teachers

We are with our friends and co-workers.

When sudden tragedy transpired

It's parents that are called in.

A child scared needs a hand to hold

We must stay brave for their needs.

A day started in love and prayer

Was shot down by an evil force.

              GOODNESS and EVIL

Love your children always

We never know their end.
