I Love You, Readers

I know your heart has touched mine;
Likewise, my heart has touched yours.

With you being a part of my life;
It’s like continuous love every day.

The internet and social networking sites
Brought us that much closer together.

I wish you more love then you have
Ever known; written in this 21st century.

Always,

He Loves Me; He Loves Me Not

She is looking for love. She also remembers
When her Dad; he gave her all the love.

Then she went out into the world.  Took what
She had been taught.

Never thought she turn the corner and still
Looking for love.

She goes out with men. But all they do is pretend.
She climbs into bed with a guy named ____.

She shows him her birthday suit, plays with his
Flute. Then their genitals meet.

It’s a nice, great meet and greet. They tell their
Lies, that it feels so good. The best they ever had.

Where have they been all their life?  Maybe he’ll
Make me his wife.

But he’s got one thought in mind. He’s done it
Time after time.

Keeping track of his lies, while he’s between
Her thighs.

Then he hauls ass out the door. He put you on his
List. He’ll tell all his friends.

When he doesn’t call. You think to yourself. You
Never told a lie. So you sit there and cry.

Then later that night, when it all feels right, when
He asks, “Who are you?” You say ____ is my name.

So let’s play the game. So you listen to the lies. As
The time flies by.

But when the sun comes up and it’s shining
Bright; there is nobody to hold her tight.

It was just her luck, it was just another fuck.

She looks in the mirror and she wonders why-
And then she begins to cry.

You Can’t Buy Love

It is given
It is sharing
It is enjoying
It is feeling
It is caring
It is observing
It is pleasing
It is showing
It is engaging
It is loving
It is received
