Israel-Palestine Conflict

I began to read about the news
I could only reach ¾ of the article
I began to read about the death toll
I also read about the wounded
I then seen the total of people fled.

I just had to stop reading more
I can’t believe this tragedy
I hear these people’s cries
I understand their moment of pain
I know of the anger they feel.

I see so much loss in their life
I feel empathy to their hurt
I know sorrow fills their minds
I understand tears fall easily
I know the heart is aching.

I know you are struck in terror
I realize you witnessed evil
I wish this battle ceased fire
I know deterrents were in the way
I pray for it to end soon.

To Help Others…

You can ask:

What can I help you with?
How can I help you?
Do you need any help?
Would you like some help?
Shall I help you with this?
Do you care for some help?

Or you can tell:

I’ll be happy to help out.
I can offer to help you.
Sure, I’ll be glad to help.
I’m ready to help you anytime.
When you’re ready, ask for help.
I want to be able to help you.

A Boulder in Life

Sometimes life places one
Of those boulders that you
Don’t know how to get past
It or through it.

Then only God or your
Guardian angel can intervene
For you.

Why?

Why is it that things seem stuck?
Why don’t my actions take hold?
Why isn’t it good enough?
Why is life unjust?
Why is things complicated?

Why is it the way it is?
Why can’t people understand?
Why is it that they don’t trust?
Why is it hard to help someone?
Why are we like we are?

Why is the world what it is?
Why don’t people get along?
Why aren’t we more kind?
Why are you not able?
Why is it so hard to do?

Why did things go wrong?
Why did this have to happen?
Why is it so urgent?
Why is it necessary?
Why is it so important?

We often question “why?”
