Relationships resemble a rubber band;
They stretch in ways we don’t understand!
At times they’re strong and reliable,
Sometimes they’re weak and very pliable.
When they break, we try to mend them;
As a tailor would finish a hem.
When they are no longer in use,
We always find an excuse.
Always handle each one with proper care;
So they remain firm, avoiding a tear!
